Join us on September 20-21st for the opening of our 3rd Season

We will open our 3rd season of chamber music concerts with free admission with two masterpieces.

In 1891, Johannes Brahms had retired the previous year as a composer. Yet, when he heard clarinetist Richard Mühlfeld play the Mozart clarinet quintet in A major he decided to return to work and compose his own clarinet quintet…

The rest is history: Brahms’ clarinet quintet was an instant popular success and became one of the most beloved pieces of the whole chamber music repertoire. On September 20th and 21st, you can hear both the Mozart and Brahms quintets. Admission is free! Please forward the below video to your friends!
